GREETINGS FRIENDS AND VISITORS!

We’re glad you can visit us! Take a few moments and browse our site, if you’d like. We’re a relatively young congregation, and have just moved to south Edmonton from the town of Devon, Alberta— the town which has come to symbolize the anointing of Canada with the discovery of the Leduc #1 oil well in 1947.  In the spring of 2010, though, we felt led by the Holy Spirit to consider re-planting the entire congregation in the Windermere area of south Edmonton, and thus spread “the anointing”!

Our prayer is “just as the Lord has done in the natural, let it be done in the spiritual”. And we’re still living out an “oil-well” experience, you might say, on the grounds of the Edmonton Oilfield Technical Society, using their hall on Sundays.   So, here’s to the vision and the anointing of our God!

Grace to you all, in the Lord Jesus Christ! —

Pastor David MacKenzie

REFUSING TO MILK THE SACRED COWS takes an evangelical, edgy and satirical look at various liberal trends within mainline church and mainstream society. It exposes how these trends have been idolized— turned into little more than ideological sacred cows.

This book may amuse you. This book may unsettle you. But this book will not be put out to pasture, any time soon...
